Marlin Harris,

July 22, 2009 Mr. Marlin Kincaide Harris Sr., age 37, of Memphis, died Friday, July 17, 2009, sudden and unexpected. Mr. Harris was born September 30, 1971, in Chicago, Illinois, and was the son of Jimmy Lee Harris and Mildred Berry Shaw Harris. He attended St. Itas and St. Gregory's Catholic Schools in Chicago, Illinois and then moved to Enterprise, Mississippi, Hattisburg, Mississippi, before moving to Memphis, Tennessee. He attended Southern Mississippi State, was a Veteran of the Air Force Reserve, and was a franchise owner of Lenny's Sub Shop. Mr. Harris is survived by Ashley Marie Hart of Bartlett, Tennessee, a son, Marlin Kincaide Harris Jr., his father, Jimmy Lee Harris, and Virginia, of Bartlett, Tennessee, one sister; Lynn Levette Harris-Soraparu, and husband, Antonio, of Chicago, Illinois, and one sister, Tenisha Candice Harris of Memphis, Tennessee, two brothers, Renford Neal Harris and Brian Wesley Harris, both of West Memphis, six nieces, Tiara Harris, Lengyel Harris, Jamesa Nelson, Crystal Harris, Arquel Johnson, and Renaija Harris, four nephews; James Nelson, Kelvin Townsel, Zechariah Tatum, and Renford Neal Harris Jr., an uncle, Michael Love, an aunt, Patricia Love, and husband, Mike, and uncle, Bruce Harris, an aunt, Evelyn Roberts, and husband Henry, an aunt, Berniece Love, an uncle, Issac Love, an uncle, Freddie Love, and wife, Denise, an uncle, Clarence Love, and wife Mae, an aunt, Anne Adams, and husband, Jerry, and aunt, Mary Blair Shaw, a great nephew, Jeremiah Issac Harris, and step-mother, Florence Harris, and a host of other family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Mildred Berry Shaw Harris, one sister, Georgia Shaw, his Paternal Grandparents, Nathanial Owens and Lola Love, his Maternal Grandparents; Dr. Leonard B. Shaw and Mildred Green Shaw, and an uncle, Kenneth Love. Services for Mr. Harris will be held Gaveside, 3:00 P.M., Saturday, at Forrest Park Cemetery, Hwy 1 South, in Forrest City, Arkansas.
