Marie Colvin Krutsch, age 74, of Forrest City, died Friday, July 5, 2019, at the N.E.A. Hospital in Jonesboro. She had been in poor health for the past several months. Mrs. Krutsch was born July 20, 1944, in Forrest City, and was the daughter of Rev. R. B. Courtney and Velma Martin Courtney. She lived in St. Francis County most all of her life, was a seamstress and was an employee of the St. Francis County Museum until 2010, and attended Oak Hill Church of God. Mrs. Krutsch married Richard D. Krutsch in 2010, and he survives her along with two sons; Robert Varner, and wife, Angela, of Palestine, and John Colvin, and wife, Amy, of Forrest City, two daughters; Melinda Barnett, and husband, Ronald, of Widener, and Donna, Sugg, and husband, John, of Prairie Grove, Arkansas, one step-daugther, Janet Colvin of Centerton, Arkansas, nineteen grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. She had one son, Bill Varner, who preceded her in death. Services for Mrs. Krutsch will be held at Stevens Funeral Home Chapel, 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, with burial in Forrest Park Cemetery.
