Myrtle Faye Kitchens
December 17, 1946 - October 9, 2018
Myrtle Faye Kitchens, age 71, of Clarksville, Arkansas, died Tuesday, October 9, 2018, after a long illness. She is a former resident of Forrest City, but had been living in a nursing home in Clarksville for the past ten years. She was born December 17, 1946, in Parkin, and was the daughter of F. R. Kitchens and Lizzie Buchanan Kitchens, both of the Forrest City area. She was one of Jehovah's Witnesses and was zealous in Bible education work before her illness progressed. She was a secretary for a lawyer at one time, a fine seamstress, and worked at Sanyo Manufacturing for many years. She enjoyed knitting and there are many who are still enjoying the things she made. Her family and friends remember her smile and giggle with fondness. We long to see her again in the resurrection in Paradise when she will be whole again. She is survived by her twin brother, James Ray Kitchens of Rondo, a younger brother, David Lee Kitchens, and wife, Pam, of West Memphis, an older sister, Martha Ruth Rose, and husband, V. B., of Forrest City, and many aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. She was preceded in death by two brothers; Fletcher L. Kitchens, Sam E. Kitchens, and her sister-in-law, Allideen Kitchens. Services will be held at Stevens Funeral Home, 3:00 P.M., Sunday, with burial in Forrest Park Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday afternoon, 2:00 P.M. until the time of the service. Stevens Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. You may log on to stevensfuneralhome.net for the online registry.
