Mr. Lloyd Allen Nichols, age 82, of Forrest City, died Sunday, May 3, 2020, at his home in Forrest City. He had been in poor health for the past month. Mr. Nichols was born May 5, 1937, in Des Arc, Arkansas, and was the son of Charles Edward Nichols and Minnie Rogers Nichols. He lived in St. Francis County most all of his life, was retired from Airtherm Products after thirty-four years, was a Veteran of the United States Air Force, and was a member of the Emmanuel Baptist Church. Mr. Nichols married Ruby Kelso in 1963, and she survives him along with one daughter, Cindy Sturdy of Conway, one son, Rev. Allen Nichols, and wife, Teresa, of Lilbourn, Missouri, one brother, Raymond 'Butch' Nichols of Houston, Texas, one granddaughter, Christi Berry, and husband, Kyle, of Conway, one grandson, Christopher Sturdy of Conway, three great-grandchildren; Ariel Sturdy, Kaylee Berry, and Carter Berry, the mother of Ariel Sturdy, Shonda Hoofman, and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends. He had one son-in-law, John Sturdy, who preceded him in death. A graveside service will be held 11:30 A.M.,Wednesday, May 6, 2020, at the Loughridge Cemetery.
