Mrs. Joyce Pippin, age 78, of Little Rock, died peacefully at her sister's home, Sunday, April 25, 2021. Mrs. Pippin was born May 8, 1942, in Forrest City, and was the daughter of Elmer Gore and Maxie Halbert Gore. She was a housewife and a member of the Church of Christ. Mrs. Pippin is survived by two daughters; Lisa Porter, and husband, Jim, of Russellville, and Kathy Martinez of Little Rock, three sisters; Willie Jean Parker and Van Compton, both of Little Rock, and Helen Devazier of Batesville, two brothers; Buddy Gore Jr. of Forrest City and Clinton Gore of Osceola, four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She had one daughter, Cindy Lawson, one sister, Elizabeth Lucas, and one brother, Harry Eden, all preceded her in death. Services for Mrs. Pippin were held Graveside, 1:00 P.M., Wednesday, at the Bell Cemetery in Palestine. Stevens Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
