    Jerry Davis

    August 9, 1940 - July 11, 2021

    Jerry Davis, age 80, of Widener, died Sunday, July 11, 2021. He had been in poor health for the past six months. Mr. Davis was born August 9, 1940, in Forrest City, and was the son of Arthur Kellough Davis and Lessie Eva Holland Davis. He lived in St. Francis County all of his life, was retired from Eaton Corporation, and was a member of the Madison Baptist Church where he also served as a Deacon. Mr. Davis married Leatrice Thetford in 1996, and she preceded him in death in 2016. He is survived by one brother, Jackie Davis, and wife, Odell, of Forrest City, several nieces and nephews, and a host of friends. He had one brother, Jimmy Davis, who preceded him in death. Services for Mr. Davis will be held Graveside, 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, at the Forrest Park Cemetery in Forrest City. Stevens Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
