Mr. James Alvis Thetford, age 71, of Forrest City, died Monday, November 26, 2018, at his home in Forrest City. His death came sudden and unexpected. Mr. Thetford was born November 4, 1947, in Forrest City, and was the son of Covie Thetford and Ardell Callahan Thetford. He lived in St. Francis County all of his life and was a sewing machine mechanic. Mr. Thetford is survived by one son, Jason Thetford of Forrest City and two brothers; Larry Thetford and Dwight Thetford, both of Forrest City. He had his parents; Covie and Ardell Thetford, one brother, E. J. Thetford, and one sister, Leatrice Davis, who all preceded him in death. Mr. Thetford's wishes were to be cremated.
