With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Dan Gordon Ricker, early morning of February, 18, 2022, at his home in Forrest City. He had been battling cancer for the last two years. Dan was born March 12, 1958, in Forrest City, where he lived most of his life. He was the son of Lance Graydon Ricker and Jo Ann Ricker. He grew up in a large loving family, with three sisters and two brothers. Dan was a devoted father and incredible grandfather. His family will remember him as mild-mannered, hardworking, and always willing to help anyone in need. He was a true problem solver who loved a challenge. He will be deeply missed by his friends, family, and all who knew him. He is survived by his incredible wife, Carol Renee Ricker; his children, Graydon (Mattie) Ricker and Lauren Ricker Massey, three grandchildren; Taylor, Emma, and Beau, mother, Jo Ann Ricker Fisher of Wynne, three sisters; Donna (Dennis) McGuire, Lois (Mike) Leslie, Sandy (Rob) Munn, and two brothers; Mike Ricker and Alan Ricker. Further survived by James (Susan) Crain and their children; Adam, Holden, and Jacob, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Lance Graydon Ricker. Services for Mr. Ricker will be held at the St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 11:00 A.M., Tuesday. Visitation will be at the church, 10:00 A.M., until the time of the service.
