Betty J. Williams Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Betty J. Williams, age 82, of Forrest City, died Friday, January 28, 2022, at the Unity Health Medical Center in Searcy, Arkansas. She had been in poor health for the past month. Mrs. Williams was born January 26, 1940, in Trumann, Arkansas, and was the daughter of Virgil Richardson and Elzadie Lowery Richardson. She lived in St. Francis County most all of her life, was a nurse, and was a member of the Haynes Baptist Church. Mrs. Williams married Marion Franklin 'Frank' Williams in 1960, and he survives her along with three sons; Kenneth Mark Williams and Greg Williams, and wife, Kristal, all of Forrest City, and Douglas G. Williams, and wife, Kim, of Haynes, five brothers; Ray Richardson, Terry Richardson, and David Richardson, all of Trumann, Jimmy Richardson of North Carolina, and Larry Richardson of Bismarck, Arkansas, four sisters; Joann Williams, Glenda Kaufman, Kathy Schmidt, and Sandra Beard, all of Trumann, six grandchildren; Misty, Scottie, Zackery, Karissa, Trent, and Zadie, and five great-grandchildren. She had one son, Franklin Dejuan Williams, one brother, Danny Richardson, and one great-grandchild, Astin Beale, who preceded her in death. Services for Mrs. Williams will be held at Stevens Funeral Home Chapel, 11:00 A.M. Tuesday. Visitation will be Monday, 6:00 till 8:00 P.M., at Stevens Funeral Home.
